We believe God intended life to be lived in community. Our worship services are great for worship and hearing the Word of God. Fellowship Clusters are held on select Sundays during the winter months at various homes throughout the church family area. These Clusters are usually held right after the morning worship service with a time of fellowship over a meal and a brief time of Bible study following the meal lead by either a Pastor or a Deacon.
Jesus said “Let the little children come to me.” One of North Mount Zion Church’s primary goals is to lead children to Jesus. Junior Church is a fun, up-beat service that includes music, games and a Bible lesson. It’s for kids to old for nursery and takes place at 10:30 AM during our Sunday morning worship service.
The Sunday School program at North Mount Zion is geared to provide sound Biblical teaching to all age groups. We start with the youngest possible with a staffed nursery before graduating to toddlers and adolescents. We provide classes for all age groups including youth, young adults and then older adults. Please join us every Sunday morning at 9:30 am and then stick around for our morning worship service at 10:30 am.
The Joy Club ministry takes place on Wednesday’s from 6:30 to 8 PM at the church facilities. This ministry is designed for school age children up to and including 6th grade. During this 90 minutes youngsters are given the opportunity to learn God’s Word and understand the truths contained therein. There is also a game time and snacks during the evening.
